Drakōpyrans

Dragon Folk

Extinct as of 942 UA

These tall, scaled humanoids possess the temperament of their Huescaranza ancestors combined with opposable thumbs. Drakōpyrans come in varieties corresponding to their draconic heritage. Their social structure centers around ancestral claims: the purer your draconic bloodline, the higher your status. This leads to tedious conversations where they recite their lineage back seventeen generations while you frantically seek an exit. They share an uneasy respect with Magnithōrans, scholarly exchanges with Helakans, and curiously gentle treatment of Lumynans, whom they consider “adorable pocket-friends.”

  • Folk Talent - Ancient Breath: Once per round, you may use your draconic heritage to exhale elements (fire, ice, acid, etc.) as a ranged attack. Roll your Power score; each success deals 2 damage points to a single target at Near range.
  • Folk Talent - Scales of Warding: Your natural scales provide protection. Once per round, you may reduce the damage from a single attack by half (rounded up).
  • Folk Talent - Ancestral Memory: Once per session, you can tap into your draconic bloodline’s ancient knowledge to gain +2 to a single Sage roll.
