Shield¶

A defensive piece carried on the off-hand. Equipping a shield counts as wearing Light Armor, with all the benefits and penalties that brings.

• Encumbrance Weight: 2
• Grants +1 to any roll made to Counter or Endure
• Treated as Light Armor: +1 to Endurance, -1 to Swiftness (although it can be worn in addition to Light Armor without the user taking the same penalties twice)
