Lādīka

Lādīka, the Goddess of Chaos, attracts followers who embrace unpredictability and spontaneous change. Her temples have no standard design, with some changing their layout regularly to reflect their goddess’ mercurial nature.
I attended a Lādīkan ceremony once where worshippers determined their ritual actions by rolling painted stones, resulting in a service that included solemn chanting, spontaneous dancing, and one elderly man standing on his head for twenty minutes. The priest later explained this was “a relatively conservative ceremony.”
Devotees of Lādīka should:
- Make important decisions by chance
- Break daily routines
- Embrace unexpected outcomes as divine guidance.
