Lapynyks

Rabbit Folk

I've never felt more awkwardly tall than when ducking through the rounded doorways of a Lapynyk warren. These diminutive folk, crafted by the goddess Denēlia, stand a third the height of Ārdans, with fuzzy long ears and powerful legs built for impressive leaps.

Lapynyk communities can double in size within a generation, leading to continuous expansion of their warrens and frequent establishment of daughter-communities when space grows tight. With lifespans of only 20-30 years, Lapynyks forge agricultural partnerships with Ārdans, defensive alliances with taller warrior races, and tensions with burrowing predators like some Felisyks varieties who occasionally see their warrens as convenient hunting grounds.
