Rīōnne

Rīōnne, the Goddess of Air & Sky, commands the allegiance of sailors, messengers, and anyone else who relies on favorable winds. Her temples are typically built on hilltops or other elevated locations, with open-air designs that become remarkably impractical during rainstorms.

I once took shelter in such a temple during a thunderstorm only to discover that the entire priesthood had gathered to celebrate the “divine atmospheric drama” rather than seek cover. They invited me to join their rain-soaked revelry with such enthusiasm that refusing seemed ruder than catching pneumonia.

Rīōnne’s devotees should:

  • Sleep under visible stars at least once per decād
  • Carry feathers
  • Frequently seek elevated perspectives for contemplation
