Of all my scholarly pursuits, none has proven more exasperating than my study of Ilhdeinia’s diverse peoples. I've been mistaken for a spy by Sylvan elders, and once spent a decād disguised as an Ofydik priestess.

These classifications represent my best attempts at categorization, but any traveler who announces “Ah, you're an Ekōyk, and therefore must be good at (insert stereotype here)” deserves whatever response they receive. Folk are individuals first, taxonomical subjects second.

Break bread together, share stories, and remember that a sincere apology transcends cultural boundaries… though having a fast horse ready doesn’t hurt when the apology falls short.
