Equydans
Centaurs

Allegedly crafted by Shūjāō, these magnificent half-horse folk thunder across plains with such speed that even elite cavalry appear hobbled by comparison. Their powerful equine lower bodies support humanoid torsos, typically standing seven to eight feet tall when measured to the shoulder, with impressive musculature that puts most warriors to shame.
Equydan communities establish themselves in rolling grasslands and prairie regions, creating settlements designed for their unique physiology: wide doorways, reinforced floors, and furniture built for standing rather than sitting. With lifespans of 150-170 years, Equydans form mutual defense pacts with Ārdans who appreciate their speed in battle, trade partnerships with Cervidans who share their respect for open spaces, and maintain respectful boundaries with Magnithōrans whose territories they’re careful not to encroach upon.
- Folk Talent - Powerful Hooves: Your hooves are deadly natural weapons. When rolling to Dodge, Endure, or Counter, you may make a free Might attack against one enemy in Close range.
- Folk Talent - Thunderous Charge: If you move Far before attacking in the same turn, double the damage of each successful hit.
- Folk Talent - Trample: Once per Rotation, when you move through an enemy’s space, they must Dodge/ Endure or be knocked prone and take 2 points of damage.
