Oryzans
Dwarves

My expedition to document Oryzan culture was delayed a decād while they debated whether an outsider could be trusted with their brewing secrets. These stout, bearded folk (including the females, whose elegant facial hair they consider marks of beauty) stand stomach-high to Ārdans but carry themselves with mountainous dignity.
Forged by the might of Rūdār, Oryzans typically occupy vast underground complexes. Their tunnels follow mineral veins, expanding organically over generations as new resources are discovered and extracted.
Living 200-250 years, Oryzans maintain essential trading partnerships with surface-dwelling races who covet their metalwork, and competitive crafting challenges with Gālyntrāns whom they consider “technically skilled but lacking proper appreciation for the materials.”
- Folk Talent - Craftsmanship: When creating or repairing physical objects, count both 5s and 6s as successes on relevant rolls.
- Folk Talent - Clan Honor: When fighting to protect your allies or uphold your word, gain +1 to all rolls for the remainder of the Sequence.
- Folk Talent - Dwarven Resilience: Your hardy constitution grants exceptional toughness. Once per session, when you would gain a Tribulation from physical harm or environmental effects, you may ignore it entirely through sheer stubbornness.
