Temrūs

Temrūs, the God of Might & Righteousness, is one of the most widely recognized deities across Ilhdeinia. His followers are easily identified by their tendency to lecture strangers about moral fortitude. Temrūs demands physical discipline, moral certainty, and a willingness to defend the innocent; qualities I’ve occasionally pretended to possess when circumstances required.

His temples double as training grounds, and I can personally attest that seeking refuge in one means you’ll be handed a practice sword and expected to spar. These warrior-priests train from childhood in martial disciplines and “righteous smiting,” with a particular hatred for necromancers and other practitioners of the unnatural arts.

They’re terrifying opponents but surprisingly pleasant drinking companions when off-duty.

Devotees of Temrūs should:

  • Defend the innocent
  • Punish power abusers
  • Never show weakness when representing the faith.
