Taurydans
Bull Folk
by
Finley Vorden
These imposing folk with their bovine heads, impressive horns, and powerful builds command immediate respect when encountered, standing a full head taller than the average Ārdan with twice the muscle mass.
With lifespans of 90-110 years, Taurydan maintain respected trading partnerships with Ārdans who value their architectural expertise, and experience particular friction with Lakrenyks whose casual attitude toward property boundaries they find incomprehensible.
- Folk Talent - Thunderous Voice: Your low-frequency vocalizations can carry over great distances. You can communicate with other Taurydan up to Far, and your voice can be used to impose the Intimidated Tribulation on enemies within Near range.
- Folk Talent - Bull Rush: When you charge an opponent by moving Far toward them in the same turn you attack, they must roll Swiftness or be knocked prone. If prone, you take 1 point of damage and your next attack gains +1 dice.
- Folk Talent - Stubborn Determination: Once per session, when you fail a roll related to a goal you've publicly committed to achieving, you may immediately re-roll once without Overexerting.
